About Runecrafting

Runecrafting is a skill that allows players to craft their own runes for magic spells. The experience earned from making runes is small, making Runecrafting a very slow skill to train. It is a very click intensive skill to train.

Runecrafting supplies

All you need for runecrafting are pure essences and a talisman/tiara. You can get these supplies from the Mage of Zamorak, which can be found at the shops (::shops for quick access).

You are also able to buy pure essence from the Skilling point store

How to train runecrafting?

Right click on your talisman and use 'locate'. Run to the altar and click on it to get the xp.

You will find a Mage of Zamorak at all altars. So the fastest way to level up is to buy a new inventory of essences all the time.

When you are golden member (donator) or above, you can use the command ::bank. With this command you can use your bank without the bank booth.

Runecrafting master

The runecrafting master (Aubury) can be found south east of Varrock. He is able to give you skilling tasks to obtain runecrafting points or money (you will also get participation points when you finish your task). In addition, you can view his shop where you can spend your runecrafting points.

Hourly bonus skill

The hourly bonus skill gives you 50% more runecrafting xp for 1 hour. Quest tab > the "i" icon to see what the current hourly bonus skill is. Refresh the page to be sure you have the right one.
