Main page/Bestiary/Bossing index/Chaos elemental
The Chaos Elemental is one of the strongest monsters located in The Wilderness. It has a decent drop table compared to other bosses, but since it is located in level 49 Wilderness it is not fought very often.
You can access the Chaos Elemental by right clicking the Purple Wizard and selecting the "Wilderness" tab followed by the "Chaos Elemental" tab. You will then want to head west of where you are teleported to, to find the "Chaos Elemental".
There are 2 ways you can do this, as the Chaos Elemental has an attack that un-equips your items, you can fill up your inventory with potions to prevent it, however, with how fast the boss is, and how much you might need to eat to survive, it is recommended to take the inventory shown in the first picture, and just re-equip the items when you see its un-equipping attack.
The Chaos Elemental has 3 different types of attack, these are:
- A powerful Magic attack that hits very high, very often.
- A Ranged attack, which is not as powerful but still very deadly.
- A Disarming attack, which causes some of your equipped items to go into your inventory. If you do not have any open spaces in your inventory, nothing will happen.
No combat style kills the Chaos Elemental significantly faster than another. But ranged is suggested since you can get decent equipment without having to risk a huge amount.
- After eating some food, try replacing the empty inventory space with the drops you get from the Chaos Elemental. That way you will not have to worry about the disarming attack that it does.
- When you're finished killing the Chaos Elemental, the closest Teleport to safety is the Mage bank, or you can try your hand at the obelisk to the East and teleport back once you're under 20 wilderness (30 if using glory/ring of wealth)
Please note, this boss is in the wilderness and dying to another player will result in losing items.
