The Hand Cannon is a very powerful ranged weapon. It is mainly used to rush players in The Wilderness, due to its powerful special attack. The only ammo this weapon can use are Hand Cannon Shots. Similarly the Hand Cannon Shots can only be used by the Hand Cannon. The Hand Cannon itself requires 75 Ranged to equip, while the Hand Cannon Shots have no requirements.

Obtaining the Hand Cannon
Pk Points
Both the Hand Cannon and the Hand Cannon Shots can be purchased from the Player Killing reward shop. The Hand Cannon can be purchased for 600k Pk points, while the shots cost 50 Pk points each.
Killing Slash Bash
The Hand cannon is a very rare drop from the Slash Bash boss. It does not drop the Hand Cannon Shots however.
Special Attack
The Hand Cannons special attack has increased accuracy, using 50% of the special attack bar, but takes longer to fire. If your attack style is set to 'rapid' when the special fires it can be used instantly for a second attack after the special is used, even if the player changes to the accurate attack style after the special fires. This can allow for two very quick hits with the second having a higher max hit. The special attack takes much longer than a normal attack to fire, and is interruptible.
