General Information

Iron Dragons are one of six types of metal dragons, although amongst those six types it is the second weakest. They deal melee and magic damage and can hit high damage without proper antifire protection. Like all metal dragons they have higher defence as compared to chromatic dragons(Green, Blue, Red, Black). Players are recommended to use higher stab bonus weapons or magic attacks. For melee users, they are able to stay invulnerable by using an anti dragonfire potion on top of dragonfire shield and praying protect from melee. For magic users, they are able to stay invulnerable by praying protect from magic on top of dragonfire shield as they dragons will not go into melee range.

Location
  • Brimhaven Dungeon (Task Only Area)
  • Brimhaven Dungeon (Axe required,87 Agility,10 Woodcutting)
    • Choose Steel Dragons under combat training at Ancient Wizard, upon teleporting head south west and pay the dungeon entrance(875 coins)
    • Upon entering the dungeon cut down the vine nearest to the entrance, then head directly north to cut down another.
    • Follow the path and shortly after you'd be able to see a vine, proceed to climb up the vine.
    • Follow the path west then run south when you get the chance.
    • When you have reach greater demons area, take the stairs to the east.
    • Run towards south east and cut down another vine, continue on the path to cut down another vine.
    • From here on head south and you'd be able to see iron & steel dragons
  • Catacombs of Kourend
    • Choose Catacombs of Kourend under slayer at Ancient Wizard, upon teleporting head north and up the stairs past Hill Giants.
