This Dagannoth King uses very accurate magic attacks which hit very high and very often. He is easily the most powerful of the three, so if Dagannoth Prime is attacking you it is highly recommended to use magic protection prayers, this will protect you from 100% of the magic attacks. Dagannoth Prime has a high resistance to both magic and melee attacks, thus you should use ranged attacks against him.
The Dagannoth Kings have 2 ways to be gotten to. The first would be the traditional way of going through the maze. To do this you need to do the following:
- Right Click teleport the Purple Wizard and click on "Bosses" followed by "Dagannoth Kings".
Next, you traverse the dungeon, like so:
Alternatively, if you have aquired the Max Cape, you can "Operate it" and teleport directly to the entrance to the Lair of the Kings.
There are 2 inventories you can go with.
- A tri-brid setup, where the recommended setup is the easy void switch. If tri-bridding, it is HIGHLY recommended to use the brimstone ring as it gives all the King rings stats, albeit their un-imbued version. The Eternal Glory is also recommended as it gives 20+ in all offensive stats, as well as 6 prayer bonus. The Rune Pouch should contain runes for Blood Spells to heal off of Rex or the Spinolyps.
- A Prime only setup, where all you really need is potions to last, as well as some food for survival in case you get hit by another dagannoth king. Blood Spells / Guthans can also be used on the Spinolyps, but it's not needed that much. An emergency teleport is much more useful here, as, if you get attacked by another king, you cannot kill it without the right weapon due to their MASSIVE defenses.
