What is herblore?
Herblore is a skill to clean grimy herbs which can be used to make potions with a second ingredient. These potions have a variety of effects. However, most of them are designed to be used in combat.
First step: cleaning grimy herbs
You can start training herblore with cleaning grimy herbs. You can buy grimy herbs at the herblore shop (Bob Barter) at north west of bank in Edgeville or use ::shops and walk to the west. It's also possible to decant your potions at the herblore shop.

Second step: making potions
When you cleaned the herbs, you need to make unfinished potions. Use a vial of water on the cleaned herbs to make unfinished potions. After that, you can make potions. All the items you need, can you find at the herblore shop as I told you.

Note: some items are secondary ingredients, like unicorn horn, blue dragon scale and chocolate bar. To make this items, you need to hold a pestle and mortar on the ingredient.
Note: the super attack potion (4), super strength potion (4) and super defence potion (4) can you buy at the consumable shop at north west of Edgeville bank. At this moment it's not possible to make antifire potions and anti-venom potions.

This is the fastest way to go from 1-99. This is without cleaning herbs.

Useful items and boosts
Hourly bonus skill
The hourly bonus skill gives you 50% more herblore xp for 1 hour. Quest tab > the "i" icon > scroll down to see what the current hourly bonus skill is. Refresh the bonus skill to be sure you have the right one.

Voting

The skilling cape
If you reach level 99, you will get the skilling cape and hood automatically. When you lost it, you can get it from the skillcape store for 27m or the (t) for 45m. Run to north west of Edgeville bank or use ::shops and run west to get there. The skilling cape doesn't give more herblore xp.
