Ice Troll King is a level 122 boss located at the end of the Ice Path. He's considered one of the hardest of the "Easy" tier bosses, as he can rapidly hit 30+ and, if unprepared, can kill you quickly.
To get to the Ice Troll King, locate the Purple Wizard and go under "Bosses" followed by "Ice Troll King"
After you teleport, go through the gate, and follow the path up. It's recommended to protect from Magic on the way up as at around the halfway point, the Troll King can start casting barrages at you.
Inventory
Prayer
The inventory for the Ice Troll King is rather simple, all you need is:
- Food (Combo food recommended as he can hit faster than you can eat)
- Stat Boosting potion as well as some prayer restoration
- Optional: A Spec Weapon (If done right, the Dragon Whips special attack can skip the Ice Troll Kings second phase outright with how much it can hit)
- An emergency teleport in case things gets out of hand.
As for prayer, you can really go both ways. It's recommended to go with melee, as the minions hit with melee, and can hit up to 15, however, the King can sometimes tend to stick with magic attacks for a good while.
The Ice Troll King is relatively simple to fight, despite hitting rather hard. He has 2 phases essentially and 2 types of attacks:
- A melee attack where he slams you with his Icicle Club
- A magic attack where he barrages you
- A phase change at around 150/255 health, where he summons 2 Ice Troll Runts, which needs to be killed before you can kill the King, similarly to the Giant Sea Snake.
