How do I make money?
There are multiple ways to make money on Grinderscape.
- If you are a new player, it is recommended to start with thieving as this gives you straight gp.
- Once you've gotten some money from thieving, another good money making method is slayer.
- Once you've maxed your combat stats, PVMing (bossing) is the ultimate (safe) way to get money.
- If you like to gamble/stake, this could also be a good way to make money. BEWARE! This is also how to lose money as well.
Where can I find a certain boss, and how can I kill it?

Where can I find a certain monster?
The Grinderscape Wiki team is currently in the process of updating all monsters with location among other things.
How do I train a certain skill?
The Grinderscape Wiki is full of skilling walkthroughs that can be found here.
What is the price of a certain item?
We have a pricelist which can be found in your quest tab, typing ::prices, at the top of the game client, or you can find it here. To search the guide quickly, use CTRL+F (COMMAND+F on macs).
What are some staking methods?
There are many methods players use to battle over a stake.
- Dragon Dagger Spec (DDSing): You use your Dragon Dagger (P++) only. If another player uses an item other than the DDS, they can be banned for scamming.
- DDS to Whip: You use your DDS and your whip. Again, if a weapon other than a DDS/Whip are used, they can be banned for scamming.
- Boxing: This is a bit of a slow fight, but are even in odds. All weapons are disabled, and the two players fight to the death with nothing but their hands.
How can I see staff members online?
You are able to type ::staff to see all available staff members online. Alternatively, if you're looking for an official middleman, you can type ::mm.
Where can I buy and sell items?
The most popular place to buy and sell items is using an auto-typer at ::home bank. You are also able to ::yell whatever items you might be selling.
Is there dicing in-game?
Yes, there is dicing in-game. To aquire the ability, you have to purchase the dicer rank off of the online donator shop or you can buy it for 500m coins at ::dice.
Are the skills Hunter and Construction in-game?
Hunter currently exists in game. Construction is still a work in progress (no).
How do I change my Spellbook?
There is an occult altar located just north of the home bank, easily accessible by typing ::shops.
What is better: Rune or Pure essence?
Pure essence is what is required for higher level runecrafting.
Where can I spend my voting points?
There is an NPC called "Vote Point Store" at the shops (::shops). We have a detailed page about voting on our wiki, which can be found here.
I am stuck and cannot move in-game. What do I do?
Either type the command ::stuck, or pm a staff member, who will teleport you back home.
What does the (c) mean when I have an abyssal whip (c)?
The (c) means "corrupted". A corrupted item will vanish after it is used for 30 minutes.
Support Questions
I lost my password. How can I recover it?
If you've lost your password, please appeal on our Discord by making a ticket in the channel #appeals.
I disconnected and lost my armour. Can I get it back?
The staff cannot give refunds of items lost in-game due to connectivity issues. The staff will always tell you to not take any risk when there are connectivity issues. If this happens, Grinderscape is not responsible for your lost items.
I was banned/muted/jailed and would like to be unbanned/unmuted/unjailed. How can I do this?
If you were banned, muted or jailed, please appeal on our Discord by making a ticket in the channel #appeals.
I am having trouble starting up my client. How can I fix this?
You can reach out in our #support channel on Discord and any number of people can help you with your specific issue.
I was scammed but don't have any proof. Can anything be done?
The Grinderscape staff cannot do anything about a supposed scam without any proof. If you have proof of the incident, please private message any staff member.
Is it possible to change my in-game name?
No, it isn't possible.
I have forgotten my bank pin, can it be reset/recovered?
Yes, all you have to do, is to personal message a moderator+ in-game or appeal on our Discord by making a ticket in the channel #appeals.
Rules Questions
Is buying/selling runescape accounts over Grinderscape illegal?
Buying/selling Runescape accounts over Grinderscape is illegal and will result in a ban.
Can we use an auto typer?
We have an auto-typer at the top of the in-game client that is free to use and is allowed.
Can we use an auto clicker?
Auto clicker is strictly prohibited (not allowed). It is an unfair method of obtaining cash, and it makes it unfair for those who actually spent time earning the money. If you are caught you will be either banned or jailed.
Am I allowed to trade OSRS money on this server?
Yes, you are allowed to trade OSRS money on Grinderscape. Remember you always have to use a middleman and you have to follow the rules, which can be found in the channel #rsgoldtrading on our Discord.
Is farcasting (Fcing) allowed?
Yes, it is allowed.
Am I allowed to make my own clan chat (cc)?
Yes, you are allowed to make your own clan chat. Remember you still have to follow our clan chat rules, which can be found here.
Application Questions
How do I become a staff member of GrinderScape?
If you think there's an application for a staff member, think again. The staff team will most likely choose a player with full potential to be a staff member of Grinderscape. You'll have to be respectful, helpful and trusted in order to become a staff member.
- Respectful: Always respect players, who they are/what they like/etc. If you're a mean spirited brute to players for no reason, it is highly unlikely that you will ever be considered for any staff position.
- Helpful: Help players in-game. If they ask for help, then try your best to provide help for the players in need. Please don't try to lie to players. That'll ruin your reputation + your chances of playing the game anymore.
- Trusted: Gain player's trust! You can do this by providing MM's/Item transfers to players. It's hard to do so, but it's worth gaining trust from people. If you feel like you have what it takes to become a trusted Middleman, then you can apply.
How do I become a middleman?
To become a middleman, you can apply on our Discord by making a forums post. To be eligible for middleman, you need to do the following:
- Be active
- Be helpful within the community (both help cc and other channels)
- Be respectful and an overall nice human
How do I become a veteran?
Your account must have a creation date of at least 2 years ago. To check this, go to your quest tab, click on the "i" icon and scroll down to check your join date. When you are sure you have the requirement, you can personal message an in-game administrator+ who can give you the rank in-game. To get the rank on Discord, please message any staff member.

What's so good about being a donor?
You can view a full list of donator benefits here. Alternatively, you can type ::benefits in-game.
How do I donate?
Visit the Grinderscape Store.
I have a donator rank in-game. Do I get one on Discord as well?
Yes. To get the rank on Discord, please make a new forums post.
I donated, but I can't yell. Why is this?
Double check you've redeemed your donation. The required amount to donate is $50 (Ruby Member).
I've donated, but I have not yet received my donation. What should I do?
Click the "redeem donation" button in your quest tab if you haven't already, or alternatively, you can type ::redeem. The last option is to redeem your donation at the premium points store outside the bank in Edgeville. If you still can't redeem your donation, you have to contact the owner or co-owner via Discord.

Where can I post suggestions and bugs?
You can post suggestions and bugs by making a new forums post on our Discord.
I have a small client. How can I fix this?

How do I vote?
You can vote by going to http://www.grinderscape.org/ and clicking on the vote link in the main navigation. We have a detailed page about voting on our wiki, here.
Once you've clicked that, type your in-game username and follow the instructions.
How do I take a screenshot?
If you're on windows 10, there is a built-in screenshot tool (Shift+Windows+S). You can also use third party software such as http://www.puush.me/ or http://gyazo.com/
I messaged a staff member, but he didn't respond.
The Grinderscape staff team is very busy when it comes down to helping players. If a staff member does not respond, you can do one of a couple things.
- Reach out to another staff member
- Go to our Discord and ask for help in the #support section
- Personal message another staff member directly through Discord
Someone changed the rules in a duel. Will he get punished?
Not all circumstances will the player be punished, as it is the job of both players to check both dueling screens while staking. Although if you have video proof, you can report them.
I am new on this server. How do I start?
To start playing Grinderscape, you can use our Beginners Guide.

Does Grinderscape still have a Facebook page?
Grinderscape does have a Facebook. You can find it here, the homepage of the Wiki, or at the top of all grinderscape.org sites with the other social media icons.
Are there any giveaways on the server?
Yes! We host a daily giveaway (as funds allow) on our Discord! Just go to our #giveaways channel and enter for a chance to win. We also, on occasion, will host other activities in game such as:
- Hide and Seek
- Goodiebags
- Drop Parties
