Venenatis is a large poison spider that is located in level 31 wilderness and is the only monster to drop Statius Armour. She uses multi-target Magic and long-ranged melee attacks. She is able to drain Prayer. She is capable of instantly killing the player. Unlike the other Wilderness bosses, Venenatis' lethal attack has a chance of failing.
To get to Venenatis, locate the Purple Wizard and go under "Wilderness" followed by "Venenatis"
Note: Despite the bossing teleport page saying Venenatis is in 31 wild, it's actually in 27-28 wild, so you can safely teleport with a dragonstone jewellery item (glory, combat bracelet etc). Do beware though that it is still the wilderness and that you should not bring items you do not wish to lose.
The inventory for Venenatis is luckily very simple. Pray melee, have plenty of food in case of pk'ers (combo food heavily recommended with Venenatis being able to hit 50's), bring a stat boosting potion, some antipoison and prayer restoration. A rune pouch with Vengeance runes and a level 30 teleport (Any dragonstone jewellery with teleports works), recommended also as Venenatis is in level 27 wilderness and it can be a quick teleport in case of pk'ers.
There are no major mechanics for this boss.
