Shield of Arrav

Intro

Varrockian literature tells of a valuable shield, stolen long ago from the museum of Varrock, by a gang of professional thieves. See if you can track down this shield and return it to the museum. You will need a friend to help you complete this quest.

Quest guide

First step

- Head to the Library in the Varrock Castle. Speak to Reldo. He wants you to find a book.

Quest completion: 11%

- Search the bookcases in the Library for the Book. It'll be the only bookcase with a Blue book in it.

Quest completion: 22%

- Speak to Reldo again. He will tell you to go find Baraek in the center of Varrock.

Quest completion: 33%

Step 2

- Head to the center of Varrock and speak to Baraek. He will Tell you where to find the 2 Different Gangs.

Quest completion: 44%

• At this point, you must decide the path of Black Arm Gang, or Pheonix Gang. You cannot do both on the same account.

Path of the Phoenix Gang

- Head to the South eastern Varrock and Go down the ladder where the red box is on the Image.

- Speak to Borat once down the ladder. He wants you to collect intel on Jonny the Beard.

Quest completion: 55%

- Head back up the ladder, and to the Blue moon inn (the bar in the south part of Varrock). Kill Jonny the Beard. Pick up the intel report.

- Go back to Borat and give him the Intel report. He will now give you a Weapon Store Key.

(You will need to share this Key with the Black Arm Gang member.)

Quest completion: 66%

- Pass all the doors south of Borat, and open the chest in the room to the South east. You will find a Broken shield half.

• Continue on to Step 4

Path of the Black Arm Gang

- Head South from Varrock center, and before you leave town go west. You will find a building with Katrine. Speak with her to join the Black Arm Gang.

Quest completion: 55%

- Head directly east. Till you get close to the Phoenix Gang Secret lair. You will need to get the Weapon Store Key from the Phoenix Gang member.

- Enter the room marked on the minimap, and climb the ladder. You will find 2 Phoenix Crossbows on the ground. Pick them both up.

- Return to Katrine in the south west end of Varrock. You can now search upstairs in their hideout.

Quest completion: 66%

- Enter the room north of Katrine. Climb the stairs. Search the Cupboards south of the stairs. You will find the other half of a shield.

Quest completion: 77%

Step 4

- Now head to the Varrock Museum. Speak with Curator Haig Halen. He will give you 2x Half Certificate.

- Now trade with the account of the opposite gang, and give each other one of he Half Certificates.

- Use the Half Certificates on each other to obtain the Certificate.

Quest completion: 88%

Finishing off

- Take your Certificate to the King of Varrock.
