About
Vorkath is a level 732 dragon. Because of this, it's weak to any of the normal dragon hunter equipment (Dragon hunter crossbow and Dragon hunter lance). This is an instanced boss and costs nothing to access. If you die, your items will spawn in front of the entrance and remain there for 9 minutes before despawning.
Vorkath uses primarily magic attacks, so it's recommended to use Protect from Magic. He does use ranged attacks, but they only hit upwards to 30s and can be negated if you have stronger range defence armor. See the Gear Setups section for recommended gear setups.
Getting There
Once you've gotten to the island, run north and go over the wall.
Inventory & Prayer
An average inventory setup for Vorkath should include: 1x Range Potion, 1x Antidote++ (or other antipoison), 2 Prayer (or restore) Potions, 10x Main food (Sharks, Mantas, Anglers, etc), and 10x Karambwans, Rune Pouch (Crumble Undead Runes), Slayer Staff (Switch for crumble undead), 2 Saradomin Potions.
Mechanics
- Vorkath uses a variety of attacks, primarily range and mage attacks, as well as melee if standing next to him. He can also use three types of dragonfire: regular, venomous, and prayer-disabling kind. His dragonfire is stronger than other dragons' and requires more tiers of protection to block. The final common attack is a fireball he launches high in the air that must be dodged or it will deal substantial damage.
- Freezing the player in place and summoning a Zombified Spawn that will approach the player and explode violently if not killed, resulting in up to 60 damage
- Launching acid pools around the area and rapidly spitting fireballs at the player that must be dodged or they will deal high damage very quickly
