About Runecrafting

Runecrafting is a skill that allows players to craft their own runes for magic spells. The experience earned from making runes is small, making Runecrafting a very slow skill to train. It is a very click intensive skill to train.

Note: These xp rates are based on a maxed player.

Runecrafting supplies

All you need for runecrafting are pure essences and a talisman/tiara. You can get talismans and tiaras from the Mage of Zamorak, you can find him at the shops located nort-west of the bank at home.

How to train runecrafting?

Right click on your talisman and use 'locate'. Run to the altar and click on it to get the xp.

You will find a Mage of Zamorak at all altars. So the fastest way to level up is to buy a new inventory of essences all the time. When you are extreme donator or higher, you can use the command ::bank. With this command you can use your bank without the bank booth.

The hourly bonus skill gives you 50% more runecrafting xp for 1 hour. Quest tab > the "i" icon to see what the current hourly bonus skill is. Refresh the page to be sure you have the right one.
