What is ranged?

Ranged is one of the three combat classes here in Grinderscape. It involves using bows, crossbows, and thrown weapons to damage opponents from a distance, and ranged armour can mostly be made from animal hides or from various of shops. All you have to do, is to put your bow and arrows in your equipment to start range.

Tip: it's also useful to train Slayer while ranging.

Where to train ranged?

Use the command ::train to get quick access to training teleports.

An easy place so start training ranged is at the rock crabs (combat level 13).

Easy place

Average place

When you need more challenge, you can go to the bandits (combat level 57).

Hard place

A hard place to train is at the slayer tower. On the third floor you can find Gargoyle (combat level 111), Nechryael (combat level 115), Abyssal demon (combat level 124) and Dark beast (combat level 182).

Run to the north and climb up the spikey chain.

Run to the south west and climb up the staircase.

Ranged styles

	Rapid	Rapid fire is the main mode used for range as the speed of each bolt is increased.
	Accurate	Accurate fire mode is for mid-ranged targets that hit hard but slower than the rapid fire.

Double xp Ring	Gives double xp and has 1000 charges.	You can buy a double xp ring at the skilling point store nort-west of the Edgeville bank or use ::shops. It costs 750 skilling points.
