Chaotic Weaponry are very powerful equipment, the only problem is that they degrade to dust after 400 attacks. Due to this, they are not oftenly used to kill NPC's with. Chaotic Weapons, however are very useful in Pk'ing situations as they can deal very high amounts of damage.

The Chaotic Shield has decent defensive stats, but like the weapons, it too degrades. However, the shield degrades after a certain amount of damage has been taken. The Chaotic Shield in not used very often as there are plenty of stronger, non-degradable shields that take its place.

Using two of the same Chaotic Items will destroy one of the Chaotics, while fully repairing the other. This can be handy if you do not want a half used weapon to degrade in the middle of a fight.
