What is ranged?
Ranged is one of the three combat classes here in Grinderscape. It involves using bows, crossbows, and thrown weapons to damage opponents from a distance, and ranged armour can mostly be made from animal hides or from various of shops. All you have to do, is to put your bow and arrows in your equipment to start range.
Tip: it's also useful to train Slayer while ranging.
How to get ranged gear?
There are many ways to get ranged gear and ammunition. Some methods are:
- Ranged shop
- Blood money shop
- Boss drops
As an ironman you cannot buy weapons from players. If you want the best weapons, you need to get them from drops or Donating.

Go to your highscores and click on the ranged skill to see all ranged weapons.
Where to train ranged?
Easy place
An easy place so start training ranged is at the rock crabs (combat level 13).
Average place
When you need more challenge, you can go to the bandits (combat level 57).
Hard place
A hard place to train is at the slayer tower. On the third floor you can find Gargoyle (combat level 111), Nechryael (combat level 115), Abyssal demon (combat level 124) and Dark beast (combat level 182).
Run to the north and climb up the spikey chain.
Run to the south west and climb up the staircase.

Useful items and boosts
Double xp ring
When you use the double xp ring, you will get double xp for all combat skills except prayer. A double xp ring has 250 charges and will vanish when it is uncharged.
You can buy a double xp ring at the skilling point store at north of bank at Edgeville or use ::shops. It costs 60 skilling points. You can also buy it from players for around 10M each.
Weekend bonus
The weekend bonus gives you 50% more combat xp. The weekend bonus is on saturday and sunday, but it's not the whole day.
Voting
When you vote and you redeem, you will get 25% more xp for 1 hour. See here how to vote.

The skilling cape
If you reach level 99, you will get the skilling cape and hood automatically. When you lost it, you can get it from the skillcape store for 27m or the (t) for 45m. Run to north west of Edgeville bank or use ::shops and run west to get there. The skilling cape doesn't give more range xp.
