What is runecrafting?
Runecrafting is a skill that allows players to craft their own runes for magic spells. The experience earned from making runes is small, making Runecrafting a very slow skill to train. It is a very click intensive skill to train.
Runecrafting supplies
All you need fore runecrafting, are pure essence and a talisman. You can get it from the Mage of Zamorak at north east of home bank at Edgeville.
How to train runecrafting?
Right click on your talisman and use 'locate'. Run to the altar and click on it to get the xp.
You will find a Mage of Zamorak at all altars. So the fastest way to level up is to buy a new inventory of essences all the time. When you are extreme donator or higher, you can use the command ::bank. With this command you can use your bank without the bank booth. Using the bank for runecrafting is available for ironman and hardcore ironman, but not for ultimate ironman.

Useful items and boosts
Hourly bonus skill
The hourly bonus skill gives you 50% more runecrafting xp for 1 hour. Quest tab > the "i" icon > scroll down to see what the current hourly bonus skill is. Refresh the bonus skill to be sure you have the right one.
Watch the order of the hourly bonus skills to see when runecrafting is the hourly bonus skill.

The skilling cape
If you reach level 99, you will get the skillcape and hood automatically. When you lost it, you can get it from the skillcape store for 27m or the (t) for 45m. Run to north west of Edgeville bank or use ::shops and run west to get there. The skillcape doesn't give more runecrafting xp. The runecrafting skill doesn't have a skilling master and also not skilling tasks.
