What is cooking?
Cooking is a skill that allows you to use raw food to be made edible, healing hitpoints when eaten. To do this, the player must use a raw, cookable food on a range or fire. Cooking goes hand in hand with the Fishing skill.
Cooking places
There are a few cooking locations near to a bank.

Walk to the south west. This range is probably the closest to a bank.

Note: this table is based on xp rates and how hard it is to cath all fish.
When you burn food and you need more raw food, it also possible to buy some kinds of raw fish at fisherman Harry.
Useful items and boosts
Hourly bonus skill
The hourly bonus skill gives you 50% more fishing xp for 35-40 minutes. Quest tab > the "i" icon > scroll down to see what the current hourly bonus skill is. Refresh the page to be sure you have the right one.
Watch the order of the hourly bonus skills to see when cooking is the hourly bonus skill.

Cooking gauntlets
The cooking gauntlets give you a higher chance to cook food as I said. You can get them from the skilling point store. Run to the north of Edgeville bank or use ::shops to get there. You can also buy them from players.
The skilling cape
If you reach level 99, you will get the skillcape and hood automatically. When you lost it, you can get it from the skillcape store for 27m or the (t) for 45m. Run to north west of Edgeville bank or use ::shops and run west to get there. The skilling cape doesn't give more chance to cook food and it doesn't give also more cooking xp. The cooking skill doesn't have a skilling master.
